About Me

I studied at Trent University (BA 1977) and the University of Pittsburgh (MA 1979, PhD 1985). After teaching at Rice University in 1983-4 and working as a research associate and visiting assistant professor at Dalhousie University from 1984 to 1986, I joined the Department of Philosophy in Lethbridge in 1986. I teach courses in history and philosophy of science, logic, metaphysics, and epistemology.

Biography

Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, I grew up in Montreal, New Jersey, Louisiana and Ontario, before majoring in philosophy at Trent University and completed my PhD at the University of Pittsburgh, in 1985.
